Playa Lanza del Norte
This place is an oasis of peace. The quiet, unspoilt, untouched beach is located about 20 km along the road from Las Terrenas, towards El Limón.
When you arrive here, you will immediately feel its amazing energy. The silence, the sound of the sea and the palm trees will immediately put a smile on your face and overwhelm you with harmony. It is about 3 km long, covered with golden sand, so it is a perfect place not only for sunbathing, but also for a pleasant walk. You rarely find any person, so it is quite possible that you will have the whole beach just for yourself. However, beware of strong currents and waves, you should stay at the shore when swimming.
As I mentioned, this place is untouched by humans, there is no chance you would find any bar or restaurant. You should definitely take some snacks with you when travelling here.
Lanza del Norte has not even been shown on maps for many years, and in the past this place served as a hiding place for pirates! If you find yourself here you will really understand why. Literally "around the corner" you will find another beautiful beach El Moron.
If you really want to spend your day out of civilization and recharge your batteries, go there and enjoy this place.
