Playa Coson

Long, relatively quiet beach stretching from Playa Bonita to the end of Las Terrenas itself. Overall, part of Coson is more or less uninhabited, respectively, you will find there two hotel complexes and a few luxury houses where you can spend your vacation.

You can get here by car or motorbike in less than 20 minutes, but the more you will enjoy your privacy. As I mentioned, it's a really calm and quiet beach, but don't get fooled, the ocean can be very wild here. That's why surfing competitions are held here. Sometimes the waves can be really high, so it's no doubt that surfers like this place really much. They really do.

If you get hungry or have a taste for coffee or a refreshing drink, stop by Luis’s restaurant. It is a typical native "restaurant". I write it in quotes, because it looks more like you're in the market place :) But don't worry, I can only recommend. I ate probably the best shrimp here ever. However, what you will appreciate here are definitely fresh fish and seafood, which you can choose by yourself and natives will be happy to prepare it for you (take a look at the photo).

And not to forget, you can experience breathtaking sunsets here. So what's more? Probably just that, this beach is definitely worth your visit.
