It is in the middle of the forest, which can be reached by car or motorbike. Guinea pigs, rabbits, birds and a crocodile can be found in a small complex with accommodation, a restaurant...The river journey is quite long, approx 2.8 km and ends at La Boca bay. The environment of the river is clean and you will be in direct sunlight most of the time, so I recommend a t-shirt and sunscreen. Small tourist boats also use this route. Although the river is quite narrow in some places, the captains are very considerate. The river is calm, without waves, but don’t expect clear water.The route ends at La Boca Bay, there’s the Wilson Bar and Restaurant. Food and drinks are not included, so I recommend bringing cash with you. Je uprostřed lesa, kam se dá dojet autem či motorkou. V malém areálu s ubytováním, restaurací najdete také zvířata včetně krokodýla.Cesta po řece je poměrně dlouhá, cca 2,8 km a končí v zátoce La Boca. Prostředí řeky je čisté a většinu času budete na přímém slunci, proto doporučuji tričko a krém na opalování. Tuto trasu využívají i malé turistické lodě. I když je řeka místy dost úzká, kapitáni jsou velmi ohleduplní. Řeka je klidná, bez vln, ale průzračnou vodu nečekejte.Trasa končí v zátoce La Boca, kde se nachází bar a restaurace Wilson. The fort was the prison of the independence hero Juan Pablo Duarte.The fort is not big and we walked through it in half an hour. For me personally, the most beautiful view is lined with walls.-AmphitheatreAn outdoor open-air Greek amphitheater overlooking the ocean. Concerts and other artistic events are held here.-LighthouseThe lighthouse is located above the amphitheater. It was built during the reign of Gregorio Luperón to serve as a navigation point for ships sailing into the city's port. Za mě osobně je nejkrásnější výhled lemovaný hradbami. -AmfiteaterVenkovní otevřený řecký amfiteátr s výhledem na oceán. Konají se zde koncerty a jiné umělecké akce.-MajákMaják se nachází nad amfiteátrem. Byl postaven za vlády Gregoria Luperóna, aby sloužil jako navigační bod pro lodě plující do městského přístavu. The sculpture symbolizes the revival of indigenous wisdom to restore the biodiversity of the coral reef ecosystem. One of the largest underwater sculptures in the Caribbean, it is constructed of steel and a special PH-neutral cement, as acidity kills corals.The sculpture is designed to attract a wide variety of marine organisms and has a textured surface for easy attachment of corals and sponges.- 3 Rocks -One of the best snorkeling spots for beginners in the province of Puerto Plata. The 3 tops of the coral rocks are at a depth of 9m, so you don't have to worry about kicking the corals. The white sand at the bottom of the ocean gives you a clear and clear view.You can get here by cruise ship from Playa Sosua. It is combined with the statue of Atabey and Los Cabezos (a group of coral reefs around Playa Sosua). On this beach there is a wooden seating area, a swing, a bar, a stylish outdoor mini gym, nets for children, the possibility of massages in the privacy of the second floor of an outdoor house overlooking the ocean. The entrance to the ocean at the hotel is quite steep, on the other side of the beach it is lined with sharp stones, but the access is steep. After you come back, you take your “trophies” home for consummation. One of the most valuable types are tuna and Mahi Mahi (in Spanish it’s called Dorado). We made a tasty Ceviche salad from Mahi Mahi. We also caught Barracuda, but the captain did not recommend to consume it. TELL ME WHY???In the Dominican Republic you have to be careful when discussing how you want your work to be done in your house. Just a small mistake and your property can be unbelievably tuned 🙂After the invertor burned down, the electrician came with a brilliant idea to connect a new cable to create another circuit from the circuit breaker to the house. It allegedly was supposed to fix voltage instability. I forgot to ask WHERE and HOW EXACTLY they plan to do it. 😁This is how it ended in the garden of my house in Las Terrenas ... COMMUNICATION:Electrician: We know how to fix voltage instability in your house. Me: How? Electrician: We need to connect another cable from breakers to create a new circuit.
