A long beach along the coast of the town of Punta Rucia. There are hotels, restaurants and a lot of boats both on the shore and anchored in the water. There is a small grocery store along the way, but there is not a large selection here.
White sand and turquoise water create a spectacular view. We visited the place at the end of summer, i.e. outside the high season. Thanks to the unusually warm summer, there were grass algae both on the beach and in the water. But because the beach is really long, the situation was different in different places. However, it is not a permanent condition and in my opinion, it will not be here in the winter.
We visited the luxurious Blue Island Hotel to enjoy a coffee on the terrace with a wonderful view. However, the price corresponded to a luxury hotel and that was the most expensive coffee yet 🙂 The view was worth it though. In addition, they have outdoor showers and sinks.
The Italian restaurant Lino Pizza, whose owner is an Italian who also cooks here, is definitely worth mentioning. We had pizza here every day and it was delicious. It's not a fancy restaurant, it offers outdoor seating by the beach with service, but we enjoyed the pizza.
Roughly in the middle of the beach, they go on trips to Cayo Arena.
